Pearlescent Blue Damselfish Just Discovered In The Maldives
Researchers report they have recently described a pale, ghostly blue damselfish living in the deep-sea reefs of the Maldives.

Those of you who are thrilled to gaze upon tropical marine reef fishes will be excited to learn that a new species of damselfish has been discovered by an international collaboration of scientists. This fish lives in nooks and crannies in the deep sea coral reefs of the Maldives, a region known as the mesophotic zone.
